ACORN Canada is calling on the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Committee to make internet more affordable for low-income families.
The group which advocates for low- and moderate-income families wants high-speed internet to be available for $10 per month.
A petition spearheaded by ACORN Canada will be handed to the CRTC before scheduled hearings on internet fees.
Should the Internet be available to everyone? Is internet a human right or still is it a privilege?
